Soil: Clay-limestone. Kimmeridgian marl.
Yellow color with golden highlights.
The nose is typical of the vintage: sunny. Notes of ripe white fruits (peach, pear) are the first to express themselves, then fruits like apricot complete the bouquet. Then come notes of aging with touches of vanilla and mocha.
Just like the smell, the sunny side of the vintage is revealed. The palate is full of sweetness and opulence. This sensation is sustained throughout the tasting. Bitterness characterizes the finish and brings lightness to the overall palate. The ripe fruit is clearly evident on the palate.
Noble seafood and shellfish:
Grilled lobster, pan-fried scallops, oysters. The toasted notes and minerality of the wine will complement the finesse of the seafood.
