Eye: purple colour with crimson highlights.
Nose: spicy at first, led by pepper and chilli. With air, the bouquet opens up to riper red fruit, raspberry and blackberry jam, with chocolate and pastry nuances over a fresh liquorice background.
Palate: round attack, followed by a silky, ample texture. Generous touches of caramel, praline and liquorice come back. Grainy finish, with tannins building up and a texture reminiscent of cocoa powder.
